Knight of Pentacles

“Pentacles symbolize the ‘magic’ of ordinary creation” (Pollack, 2019, p. 233). I love this idea when considering today’s tarot card. This is the week I return to my full responsibilities at work and with this, I am trying to find the magic in the every day, mundaneness of my life. The knight is reliable, grounded, and deeply rooted in simplicity as demonstrated by his horse as he stands solidly on the earth with the Knight upright (Pollack, 2019). However, the knight must also not be denied his tendency toward adventure. This card is a reminder to find where in my day to day responsibilities is adventure, magic, and access to the beauty of nature and the joy of satisfying work. Where in the mundaneness of my life, can I find access to spiritual mysteries?
